     Marjory Stoneman Douglas founded Friends of the Everglades because no other organization was focused locally to work for the preservation of the Everglades.  She helped to bring attention to this historic effort.

     The Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project is the largest environmental restoration project in the world today.

     Your donations will help to make sure that it is done right. Your donation will help us to keep a vigilant watch on the progress of this effort and keep it from going astray.  Every dollar helps to fund our education, awareness and enforcement efforts.  Your donation is tax deductable.
